Bay Path Summer Reading

There will be book talks and schoolwide contests connected to these books in the fall of 2024. Students who participate in the activities will be eligible to win gift cards and other prizes for their work.  Students enrolled in Advanced Placement Courses have their own summer work (see below) but are encouraged to participate as well.

Read at least one of the following nonfiction books recommended by the BP staff:

  • The Reason I Jump: The Inner Voice of a Thirteen-Year-Old Boy with Autism by Naoki Higashida
  • Humankind: A Hopeful History by Rutger Begman
  • How Starbucks Saved My Life: A Son of Privilege Learns to Live Like Everyone Else by Michael Gates Gill
  • Breaking Night: A Memoir by Liz Murray
  • No Excuses: The True Story of a Congenital Amputee Who Became a Champion in Wrestling and in Life
  • Spare Parts by Joshua Davis
