Culinary Club

Culinary Club

The Bay Path Culinary Club is a culinary activity club open to all students. There is a mandatory requirement that all members work the day of our Chowderfest, which is our fundraiser for all our activities and food. Each member will also be given 20 tickets to sell @ $5 each for the event. The $100 raised is the dues for the club and needs to be paid by the first week in November regardless of whether or not all the tickets have been sold. The Club takes trips to different food venues, like the Metro Bistrot and Faneuil Hall, explores and makes different kinds of food after school, like Peruvian, Asian, French, and African cuisines, participates in food competitions, like Worcester's Best Chef and Team Chef, and has trips for entertainment to places like Christmas by Candlelight, Fright Fest, and Deep-Sea fishing.

The Culinary Club meets almost every week, if the club membership is large, the club will be broken into two groups that will meet every other week. Meeting days are flexible based on what is best for the majority. Outings and field trips are held after school and on weekends.

GSA

GSA

The GSA at Bay Path aims to support a sense of belonging for all students by helping create an environment in which all individuals are able to be themselves. All students should feel safe, respected, and accepted into their school community. The GSA aims to promote equality for Bay Path’s students by educating them on issues of diversity and tolerance, encouraging confidence, and providing comfort and community for those students who need extra support. The GSA celebrates diversity and strives to create inclusive spaces inside and outside of the classroom. We understand that social and cultural awareness, tolerance, and cooperation are important components of a thriving learning environment. We aim to improve and create new pathways for acceptance of all LGBTQIA+ students and their allies, reflecting to our students that how we treat each other matters, and that leading with kindness and acceptance builds a strong community both in and outside of our school.

Journalism / Creative Writing

Journalism / Creative Writing

Students in the Journalism/Creative Writing Club produce articles and works of creative writing with the ultimate goal of being published in the school newspaper. Students serve various roles as editors, writers, photographers, or readers. Meetings usually consist of sharing articles and creative writing with each other, reading inspiration samples, sharing tips on how to write compelling works, editing each other’s work, and brainstorming sessions. All writers are welcome, from novice to more experienced!

Math Team

Math Team

The Math Club is for anyone in any grade who likes math. Throughout the year, the Math Club competes with other schools in solving math problems. The competition involves many different levels of math, so you don’t have to be in honors classes to join.

National Honors Society

National Honors Society

The Minutemen Chapter of the National Honor Society at Bay Path was formed in 1982 to bring recognition to outstanding students. Selection is based on evidence of exceptional character, strong leadership qualities, outstanding service to school and community, and scholarship. Once inducted, active members must maintain their academic standing, continue to embody the values of character, leadership, and service to fellow students, as well as participate in monthly meetings and service projects within the larger Bay Path community.

Renaissance Club

Renaissance Club

The Renaissance Club at Bay Path promotes and rewards excellence in academics, school culture, and character development.

Robotics

Robotics

An after-school program open to all students at Bay Path.

The Bay Path Robotics Club brings together students from across every program who share one thing in common: a drive to build. Members design, fabricate, wire, and program real robots — then put them to the test against teams from across the country at a national competition.

Instructors are here to guide and support, but every design decision, every line of code, and every wired connection comes from the students themselves. That means by the time you compete, you've truly built something.

Members develop hands-on skills in 3D modeling, 3D printing, electronics and wiring, programming, and physical fabrication — skills that are relevant whether you're going into engineering, technology, manufacturing, or anywhere in between.

We compete in a variety of challenge formats — from head-to-head combat bots and hockey bots to maze navigation and autonomous robots. Each event demands a different mix of skills, so there's always something new to learn and a role for every type of thinker: the strategist, the builder, the coder, the problem-solver.

Every year the team travels to a national competition. Past destinations have included Ohio, Georgia, California, Illinois, Minnesota, and Florida — and there's always somewhere new on the horizon.

No experience required — just curiosity and a willingness to figure things out. If you want to leave Bay Path knowing how to design, build, and program a machine from scratch, this is your club.
